Sue Whittington is a chartered retirement planning counselor with Morgan Stanley and a dedicated United Way volunteer and donor. Throughout childhood, Sue’s family emphasized the importance of community involvement. Her roots inspired her to stay involved in making her community a better place. She was introduced to United Way through a workplace campaign at her first job after college. It was through United Way that Sue was able to focus her involvement and continue her passion of helping others. “I volunteer and donate to United Way because it is really the mothership in every community.” As Sue points out, United Way funds organizations that solve problems specific to the needs of the local people.
