“Personally, I give to the United Way because I was born and raised here and if I can do my part to make a positive impact in this community, then I’m going to do it.”
When asked why she gives to the United Way, Kherri Anderson, Deputy of Elections Outreach for the Martin County Supervisor of Elections, responds enthusiastically, “Why not? All of the dollars that we collect stay local; they help local agencies and programs that are making a positive impact in our community.” She was inspired to get involved with the United Way because of the direct impact that she witnessed in the community.
